As usual, food out with my girlfriend, fairly local to us is Stevenage Old Town, which has a really nice vibe, one that is very different to Stevenage Town Centre. I had the breakfast and the gf had Eggs Benedict. The first thing that stood at was that it had a really cosy, yet comfortable atmosphere, it was busy without being overwhelming, the staff aslo seemed really nice. The food was excellent, the breakfast did admittedly look a little sparse, but the ingredients are very high quality, so actually, it was the perfect amount of food. My gf assured me her Eggs Benedict was wonderful, this is recommended. As a side bar, I have had their full stack of pancakes before, I recommend those too, they are fabulous.

Gorgeous cafe located in Stevenage old town! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The cafe has an extensive menu with good prices. Generous portions and tasty food. I ordered buttermilk pancakes with bacon and highly recommend. A friend ordered salmon and eggs (also recommend)! I will definitely be going back again.

I have visited this place twice and would rate my overall experience 3.5/5. The food is freshly cooked and tastes really nice. The vegetarian breakfast is a good option. However, the food is highly expensive, which makes it more suitable for special occasions rather than regular visits. The atmosphere is pleasant but can get quite noisy, especially on Saturday mornings when it’s very busy. The staff are somewhat supportive, but I couldn’t find any option to pre-book online, which would have been helpful. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a treat, but the high cost and noise level might make it less appealing for casual visits.
